LMT® MRP (Monolithic Rail Platform) has developed what is the most versatile multi-calibre/multicane system currently in use.
Thanks to the versatility of the MRP monolithic upperreceivers, it has been possible to create a modular weapon system that makes it possible not only to change to barrels of different lengths, but also to use barrels of different calibers by simply replacing the bolt/plug assembly, from 5.56×45 to .300 Blackout to 6.8 SPC (where the magazine is also replaced), in just a few quick operations. The monolithic structure gives to the weapon an uncommon stability and manageability, even in burst shooting.
